ChatGPT, the artificial intelligence chatbot developed by OpenAI, is the fastest-growing app in history.
According to a UBS study (via CBS News), ChatGPT received 13 million unique visits per day in January, which is more than quadruple the number of visitors it received in December. The conclusion of the investigation was that ChatGPT has 100 million monthly users despite only existing for two months (can you believe it?). http://sentrateknikaprima.com/
The survey, which cites data from analytics company Similarweb, places ChatGPT ahead of other rapidly expanding apps like TikTok and Instagram. TikTok reached 100 million monthly active users in nine months, while Instagram required over two and a half years.
In the report, USB's experts noted, "We cannot recall a quicker growth rate for a consumer online application in the past 20 years of tracking the internet area."
The news arrives just one day after OpenAI debuted ChatGPT Plus, a premium version of the chatbot. It costs $20 a month and provides users with access to ChatGPT during peak usage hours, with faster response times and priority access to new features.
ChatGPT gained tremendous popularity almost immediately after its release, with users employing it for a number of purposes, including creating humorous poems, cheating on college essays, and having the bot write malware. Microsoft, a prior investor in OpenAI, recently invested an additional $10 billion in the firm and is rumored to be in the process of integrating ChatGPT into some of its services, including Bing. Google is rumored to be creating many public-facing AI capabilities of its own in response to ChatGPT.
